GTA: San Vice is a mod that introduces the Vice City map into Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Being a mod, you will need to have the base game of GTA San Andreas to be able to play it.
When you install GTA: San Vice, you must select the game folder. There is no need to make backup copies of the main install since the installer will take care of this and leave the game as it was in case you decide to uninstall it.
